Finding the magic at the intersection of AI and product
How AI intersects with life today feels messy, but we need to find the magic in it. Our businesses, and careers depend on it. In his keynote presentation, Pendo CEO & Co-founder Todd Olson shares how you can partner more deeply with Pendo to focus on the user in the age of intelligence. We want to help you find that magical intersection of AI – both in your products and in your day-to-day. And to do that, we need to return to first principles of product management: making the user our North Star.
Last year, we talked about entering the age of intelligence, and how Pendo is evolving to help companies leverage AI to deliver business outcomes. Since then, AI has begun to intersect our lives and work – it’s the first thing we see when we start a search in Google, Facebook or Amazon, and an enticing new feature in most of the apps we use to do our jobs. And yet, it often feels messy. AI recommendations aren’t always good ones. We’re concerned about how our data is used. Our leaders are asking us to try out new tools, but we don’t know which apps we can trust. And, it’s hard to find the time for trial and error when our companies are looking for quick wins.
For those of us building products, the technology is evolving so fast that it’s hard to keep up. In just a year, the conversation has moved from prompt-based chatbots to autonomous agents, and even still, the output of GenAI doesn’t always feel customer-ready. Many of us are just trying to get our data in one place before we can fully leverage AI.
