RALEIGH, NC — NOVEMBER 9, 2018 — Pendo, creator of the leading product cloud for digital products and data-driven product teams, today announced it has been named a Cool Vendor by Gartner Inc. in its November 2018 report: “Cool Vendors in Application Development,” authored by Gartner analysts Keith Mann, Mike West and Nathan Wilson.
The report says that, “to modernize application development practices, application leaders should choose tools that support flexible application development practices to enable autonomous teams to find their most effective way of working; analyze user experience data to identify higher-value features to deliver to customers; [and] capture feature utilization data to close the feedback loop and enable effective hypothesis-driven development.”
“Today’s software organizations understand that a great product and great product experiences are the key differentiators for their business,” said Todd Olson, CEO and co-founder of Pendo. “We believe Cool Vendor recognition by Gartner further validates the importance of the product cloud as the foundation for digital products and data-driven product teams.”
Cool Vendor recognition comes during an exciting season for Pendo. The company announced a $50 million Series D funding round in September and was named to Forbes’ prestigious Cloud 100 and Next Billion-Dollar Startups lists. Yesterday, Pendo announced record third-quarter results and continued growth and momentum.
